Our priorities

By placing research, data, and insights at the heart of our work, we are committing to four key priorities that will help build a stronger, more inclusive, and resilient sector – ensuring that London’s charities and community groups can thrive now and in the future:

  1. Understanding and evidencing the impact and value of London’s charities and community groups
  2. Investigating underexplored and underrepresented areas within the sector
  3. Creating an environment where data is an opportunity for everyone
  4. Promoting a culture of continuous learning and insight sharing

London- specific data sources

Understanding the needs of London’s communities can be challenging due to the often sparse and fragmented nature of available data. Yet we know how vital data can be for charities and community groups when telling your story.

One way to gain insights is to use open data, a powerful resource for charities and community groups to gain deeper insights into local areas, analyse trends, effectively demonstrate local needs to funders, and refine and target your services more precisely.

We have curated a comprehensive list of open data sources that can be used to make sense of London’s diverse and dynamic environment.
