In January, we joined Superhighways, DataKind UK, OCSI, and others to explore what the latest Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) data reveals about London.
As part of the event, we invited attendees to reflect on how the data aligns with their experience working with local areas and communities, and how London’s charities and community groups are already using IMD data in practice.
London’s charities and community groups told us that the data is a vital tool for evidencing need, shaping funding applications, planning services, and understanding how deprivation is changing across their communities. In this blog, we have also shared the latest tools and resources to help you explore the data with confidence and apply it effectively in your work.
