Funding

Long-term illnesses

The Edward Gostling Foundation provides financial support to charities seeking to create significant and positive change to the lives of disadvantaged people with a long- term illness or impairment.

Grants for older people

The funding from Friends of the Elderly is intended to support older people who are of, or over, state pension age (66 years) and living on low incomes.

DWF Foundation

The DWF Foundation provides funds, resources, and support to help communities achieve their full potential. The Foundation does not have a minimum grant size but the majority of their grants fall under £5,000.

Esmee Foundation

Funding from Esmee Foundation is available to support organisational core or project costs.

Reaching communities

The Reaching Communities fund from the National Lottery Community Fund offers larger amount of funding (over £10,000) for organisations that work with their community to help them thrive. They fund projects that work to make positive changes in their community – whether that is for people living in the same area, or people with similar interests or life experiences.

Music funding

This funding from Music for All provides opportunities for music-related community projects and for individuals.

Arts funding

The Paul Hamlyn Foundation ‘Arts Fund‘ supports organisations who work at the intersection of arts and social change. Grants range between £90,000 – £300,000.

Research

Health and care professionals

Are you a health and care professional interested in improving equality, diversity and inclusion within your sector? Race Equality Foundation and the Health Innovation Network (South London) are running a survey to find out ways of doing this effectively. 

Physical activity

Move Consulting are inviting people to take part in this survey on physical activity. They would like you to share your knowledge and experiences into commissioning, managing, designing and delivering programmes and services.

London Now

London Now Now is a new initiative designed to empower black and minoritised communities across ten London boroughs. They have created a survey to gather ideas, concerns and suggestions on the project.

Rough sleeping

The Rough Sleeping Plan of Action aims to set out a shared vision for ending rough sleeping in London. Help inform the plan by sharing your feedback.
