Community Links Bromley: Voluntary Sector Collaboration & Partnerships Administrator and Business Support Officer

You will provide coordination, project-management, communication and administrative support to the Director. You will develop and enhance the online profile and reach of the Director’s and the Alliance’s work, and will support with researching approaches and innovation which will enhance the collaboration between the voluntary sector and the South East London Integrated Care System. You will support with coordination of community events, talks and forums. You be responsible for varied administrative tasks including diary coordination, meetings’ papers preparation and minute taking. As this is a new role you will have the opportunity to further shape the scope of this role as it develops.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of advisors and buddies who work closely with local people to support them to reach their personal goals. Ideally you will have experience of supporting people holistically through complex situations. You will work with voluntary and statutory sector partners across Redbridge to ensure a joined-up and coordinated approach to referrals and will build an extensive knowledge of local service provision in the borough. You will also work closely with the Social Prescribing Network Manager to link into the local social prescribing eco-system.

Bexley Voluntary Service Council are looking for a Project Manager to take on the day-to-day running of the Bexley Community Champions scheme. Community Champions are volunteers who began by spreading awareness of the vaccine programme and local support for residents.  The programme has grown to include the improvement of health and well-being of local people, their immediate environment, and bringing communities closer together.  Community Champions support all sorts of activities, from tackling mental health issues and obesity, to dealing with litter and having a say on health and care issues.

Bexley Voluntary Service Council: Good Food Bexley Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will take on the day-to-day running of the Good Food Bexley Network. This Network was set up in May 2023 to reduce the pressure on emergency food aid resources through collaboration and networking with various organisations in Bexley. This is now being expanded to increase financial and further wraparound support provided for Bexley residents. This is an opportunity to be at the start of an exciting, innovative partnership project, shaping a network of organisations enabling fairer access to food and other resources.

Full time salary is £27,340, actual salary is £21,872 including Outer London Weighting (OLW)
