Hedley Foundation

The Hedley Foundation is offering grants of up to £5,000 to support smaller charitable organisations undertaking projects for young people, disabled people, terminally ill patients and others in need. Apply here.

The Prudence Trust

The Prudence Trust have an open funding opportunity to support data collection and use in the youth mental health sector. 

The opportunity is open to UK registered charities or CICs, with an annual income of at least £250,000. Eligible organisations will offer at least one direct mental health intervention and already collect data on mental health or wellbeing.

Global Dialogue – Shaping the future

Shaping the future is a fund to Support Leadership in the Migration Sector. This fund has been co-created with sector experts to address the growing need for leadership capacity and capability in the refugee and migration sector. It provides resources for individuals, organisations, and networks to foster holistic, sustainable leadership development.

Organisations: Grants of £10,000 – £60,000 to strengthen leadership within organisations.
Collaborative partnerships: Grants of £60,000- £100,000 to support collaborative initiatives that foster leadership across networks

Deadline: Wednesday 12 March 2025

City and Guilds Local Community Skills Fund

The Local Community Skills Fund aims to support a wide range of initiatives that will make a positive impact on communities across the UK.

One key focus is to fund innovative local and community-led projects that may not be eligible for traditional funding sources, including anything from setting up a community garden to running a digital skills workshop.

The fund also seeks to help disadvantaged people develop the skills they need to find employment by providing training and support.

Expressions of Interest are currently closed but this is a rolling programme so please sign up for further details.

Deadline: monthly (rolling) the community grants programme is open year-round and submissions will be reviewed on a monthly basis.

London Catalyst

London Catalyst is offering grant funding of up to £5,000 for charities and voluntary and community organisations working in Greater London. 

Priority is given to small or medium-sized organisations with an annual income of around £500,000. Organisations with income over this figure can be considered.

Grants for Good Fund

The Matthew Good Foundation supports small charities, not-for-profit groups and social entrepreneurs who are passionate about making a difference to people, their community or the environment. Find out more here.

Imperial Community Impact Fund

The Imperial Community Impact Fund is an initiative designed to support local community groups and charities committed to making a positive difference. 

With an annual fund of £10,000, this grant scheme offers between £500 to £1,000 per project to inspire and empower local organisations working in the areas of the environment, sustainability, creativity, and local problem solving.

The fund is open for submissions twice a year, in January and July with the next round opening on Thursday 30 January 2025. The application deadline is Thurs 20 March 2025.

Mayor’s Community Weekend funding programme

The Mayor’s Community Weekend funding programme launched this month.

Communities and voluntary groups are offered the chance to apply for between £500 and £2,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund to run events or activities that celebrate and support building strong community relationships.

The National Lottery Community Fund will fund activities that happen: in Greater London – including the City of London and the 32 London boroughs between Friday 12 September and Sunday 14 September 2025.

Applications will open at 10am on Wednesday 9 April 2025

Application deadline: midday, Wednesday 30 April 2025
