Kings Fund

The King’s Fund have launched a new learning community – ShiftWorks – offering seven CPD-accredited courses, bite size learning and online events for those working with the health and care system.

Suicide prevention

If you work for a local authority, NHS trust or voluntary sector in North East London, you can sign up for free suicide prevention training

Peer support

This workshop is designed to support voluntary and health organisations to consider, plan and troubleshoot the introduction of peer support programmes into their services.

Boundaries in the workplace

This workshop for voluntary sector organisations will help to consider, plan and implement personal and professional boundaries in the workplace.

Group dynamics

This workshop is for voluntary organisations to understand group dynamics within a support setting and to manage and coordinate groups or supervise volunteers to do so.

Challenging behaviour

This workshop explores challenging behaviour, how to recognise it, and techniques to work out when and how to intervene to try and de-escalate these situations.

Carer support

Join this free online drop in session for any carers or family members of someone living with dementia who are seeking support.

Health inequalities engagement

framework is being developed for Integrated Care Boards to use when carrying out their engagement with people and communities and tackling health inequalities. The framework will ensure a diverse range of communities are consulted and participate with health inequalities initiatives. This work is being led by National Voices and funded by the Care Quality Commission. Sign up to the launch event.

Leading for System Change
A great opportunity for VCS leaders – aimed at senior staff (not CEOs) to access leadership development – specifically focused on those working on system change. It will support groups drawn from across sectors to work on complex challenges and to build greater systems leadership capabilities. Find out more information (attached). What does inclusive decision making look like?
