From 24—28 June, we’re taking part in the UK’s biggest celebration of small charities. Small Charity Week celebrates and raises awareness of the essential work of the UK’s small charity sector, which makes an invaluable contribution to the lives of millions of individuals, communities, and causes across the UK and the rest of the world.

In London, small charities are the beating heart of our capital. To celebrate, we will be showcasing the amazing work of London Councils for Voluntary Services (CVSs) and Volunteer Centres (VCs). We will be highlighting the vital work of these infrastructure organisations and how they support the frontline voluntary, community and social enterprises sectors in London.

London Councils for Voluntary Services

A Council for Voluntary Services (CVS) is an organisation that supports, connects, promotes and brings together local charities and community groups. There are 30 CVSs in London and together they support over 13,000 local registered charities in the city.
