London Plus: Treasurer
London Plus has a number of projects underway which will provide opportunities for a new Treasurer to support the charity to develop and implement new funding and finance arrangements. The Treasurer of London Plus is a Trustee of the charity. As well as their role as a Trustee, the Treasurer role is to monitor the financial administration of the charity, advise the staff team on relevant matters, and report to the Board of Trustees on its financial health, giving the Board the confidence and knowledge to make strategic decisions. This role provides leadership of KCSC’s Sector Development service for the voluntary and community sector in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC). They are seeking a person with an excellent understanding of the charity sector and the ability to lead KCSC’s long-established and vital core service supporting local voluntary and community organisations. You will have a detailed understanding of what’s required to run a charity, and the ability to manage, develop and deliver the service effectively, including promotion and increasing its reach into the sector; identifying new opportunities to meet sector needs; implementing and evaluating new projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to help to deliver a new Plan and vision for the Mottingham Big Local area. The aim is to coordinate Big Local activity and build the local social infrastructure over the remaining period of the programme. The successful candidate will lead on strategic cross-sector engagement within the Mottingham Big Local area and across the London Borough of Bromley to strengthen and inform programme delivery and optimise funding opportunities. You will also lead on creating a sustainable MBLR legacy, including working on a successor organisation.

Tower Hamlets CVS are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Development Director to lead the development of the North-East London Voluntary and Community Sector Collaborative (NEL VCS Collaborative). The VCS Collaborative is a body of voluntary & community sector representatives and a representative from the Integrated Care Board that collaborates to ensure that the design and delivery of health and care services works for residents. The position will be hosted by Tower Hamlets CVS although the post holder will be accountable to the NEL VCSE Collaborative Leadership Group and will be expected to work equitably across the North-East London sub-region.

Bexley Voluntary Service Council are looking for a Health and Wellbeing Coach to support their Social Prescribing Project. You will be passionate about supporting people with long-term conditions. They are particularly interested in a candidate with lived experience of managing, or have independently reversed, a long-term condition such as Diabetes, heart disease or chronic kidney disease. Your role will be supporting residents to increase their ability to self-manage long-term conditions and encourage them to take pro-active steps to improve the way they manage their physical and mental health, centred around what matters to them.
